  • Tilt your device left or right to move in that direction.
  • Swipe up anywhere on the screen to jump.
  • Tap the attack button or Tap anywhere on the game screen to attack and defeat enemies.
  • Tap Game Screen to Move to next level upon Level Completion
  • Tap Game Screen to restart level upon Game Over

Desktop Controls:

  • Use the Arrow Keys to move left or right and jump.
  • Press the SPACEBAR to attack enemies.
  • Press SPACEBAR to Move to next level upon Level Completion
  • Press SPACEBAR to restart current level upon Game Over

📲 How to Enable Fullscreen on iOS:

To play Turbo Negro in fullscreen mode on iPhone/iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Open Safari and go to https://turbonegrogame.netlify.app/.
  2. Tap the Share Button Share in the browser bar, next to the web address.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Rename it (optional) and tap "Add" in the top right corner.
  5. Find the Turbo Negro icon on your home screen and tap it to open.
  6. The game will now launch in fullscreen mode! 🎉

🚨 Note: If you've already added the game to your home screen but still see the Safari browser bar, delete it from your home screen and repeat these steps.

Tips:

  • Avoid obstacles and defeat enemies to progress through levels.
  • Keep an eye on your health bar and the number of enemies left.
  • Master your timing for attacks and jumps to avoid taking damage.
  • You can not attack with the attack button while using the joystick due to touch screen limitations...but you can tap the game screen
  • ...you can also enter fullscreen on mobile/touch screen devices by turning your device from portrait mode to landscape mode while on the game's website...

Was visiting the legendary French Quarter when randomly attacked by the infected.

Shoots an unlimited amount of CD projectiles.

Mardi Gras Zombie

Description:
A colorful zombie that walks towards the player to attack

Origin:
Corrupted by Dark Matter from eating King Cake before festival season

Attack Pattern:
Melee attack upon contact

Behavior:
Slowly approaches the player and attacks directly. Can jump and change directions

Trumpet Skeleton

Trumpet Skeleton

Description:
A skeleton with a trumpet that jump towards the player blindly runs in the direction of the player

Origin:
Corrupted by Dark Matter when seeking attention for their music before properly practicing

Attack Pattern:
Spawns, lunges at character and then charges at the player

Behavior:
Initially jumps at player then run blindly in the direction of the player. Does not change directions

Mardi Gras Blimp

Mardi Gras Blimp

Description:
A forgotten blimp from one of many parades passed...
from long ago...when blimps were cool...
hails to seek revenge upon our player by firing beads made of the hardest plastic known to man!

Origin:
This blimp,
from one of the many Mardi Gras celebrations in the past,
has been corrupted by Dark Matter due to the excessive force in which they threw their beads!
...many children perished from atop their ladder/chair combo thingy's

Attack Pattern:
Spawns, flies in an awkward manner while firing beads at the player!
Respawns in 5 seconds after it's destruction!

Behavior:
Flies across the top of the screen!
Then down!
Then left!
Then up!
All while firing beads at the player!
Respawns in 5 seconds after destruction!
Destroy immediately for best chance at survival!!

Beignet Minion

Beignet Minion

Description:
Small enemy that shoots projectiles at the player

Origin:
Corrupted by Dark Matter from eating too many Cafe Du Monde beignets
Now, fires beignets at will to infect others!

Attack Pattern:
Walks across the game screen and shoots projectiles at the player

Behavior:
Moves horizontally and actively targets the player!
Fires beignets at the player!
Player's projectiles destroy the beignet minion projectiles!

Beignet Monster

Beignet Monster

Description:
A larger enemy with 2 health that patrols an area

Origin:
Corrupted by Dark Matter from eating too many Cafe Du Monde beignets
Now,
wanders aimlessly through the French Quarter randomly attacking others

Attack Pattern:
Causes damage on contact with increased health and increased damage to player

Behavior:
Patrols randomly and withstands multiple hits!
...doesnt seem to know that the player exists...
Destroy or stay out of the way!

Beignet Boss

Beignet Boss

Description:
The final boss with various attack phases including firing beignets and spawning beignet monsters

Origin:
Corrupted by Dark Matter from eating too many beignets from an unknown location!
(it wasn't Cafe Du Monde cause...i love Cafe Du Monde, so figure it out!)
Now, roams the area around Jackson Square seeking the ruin of souls
this thing also ate the "W" beignet made for the legendary Jameis Winston!
so, it's pretty tough

Attack Pattern:
Shoots projectiles, summons minions, and has phase-based changes and teleports.

Behavior:
Adjusts attack patterns and increases speed as its health decreases
